Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Study

Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) is a statutory requirement for most developmental and industrial activities in across the globe. Its purpose is to identify, examine, assess and evaluate the likely and probable impacts of a proposed project on the environment and, thereby, to work out remedial action plans to minimize adverse impact on the environment.

NATURE experts have vast experience of providing EIA services and its purpose to identify impact of developmental activities on natural environment and provide advice on mitigation measures and management planning. NATURE has provided EIA services to various governments, private and international clients in GCC.

Environmental Monitoring

Environmental monitoring describes the processes and activities that need to take place to characterize and monitor the quality of the environment. Environmental monitoring is used in the preparation of environmental impact assessments, as well as to identify the changes in quality of natural environment. Environmental monitoring includes several parameters viz. Physical, Chemicals & Biological etc.

NATURE experts have vast experience of providing Environmental Monitoring services and its purpose to analyses quality of air environment, water environment, noise, soil environment & biological environment. NATURE engaged with the different sampling methods as per the apex Environmental authorities in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Kingdom of Bahrain and State of Qatar. NATURE has provided environmental monitoring services to various governments, private and international clients.

Ecology & Bio-diversity Studies

Ecology is the scientific analysis and study of interactions among organisms and their environment, such as the interactions organisms have with each other and with their abiotic environment. Biodiversity, short for biological diversity, is the term used to describe the variety of life found on Earth and all of the natural processes. This includes ecosystem, genetic and cultural diversity, and the connections between these and all species. The primary objectives of the biological environment study are:

NATURE experts have vast experience of providing Ecology & Biodiversity services and its purpose to identify impacts of developmental activities on biological environment and provide advice on mitigation measures and management planning. NATURE has provided Ecology & Biodiversity services to various governments, private and international clients.

Ecology & Biodiversity Service by NATURE

  • Assessment of the vegetation type (qualitative and quantitative)
  • Identification of common flora & fauna in the study area
  • Identification of any rare and endangered plant species (if any)
  • Evaluation of wildlife habitat of the area and assessment of impact of the proposed project on wildlife and their habitats, agriculture and domestic livestock

Environmental Due Diligence and Site Assessment

Larger Corporate transaction related to purchase/renting/leasing the land, essentially requires Environmental Due Diligence and Site Assessment. This is required to identify the hidden environmental liabilities associated with the land and the cost required for management. Not only could the cost but there could be various legal issues and the implications associated with operating/ owning the contaminated land.

NATURE experts have vast experience of providing Environmental Due Diligence and Site Assessment services and can provide logical and robust advice to the investors/buyers/lender which may have significant impact on their capital and can help them to invest on right property. NATURE has provided Environmental Due Diligence and Site Assessment services to various governments, private and international clients.

Why Environmental Due Diligence and Site Assessment?

  • Associated environmental liabilities are identified and quantified so that they can be managed
  • Save you from investing into contaminated land
  • Makes your project more environment friendly

Environmental Due Diligence and Site Assessment Service by NATURE

  • Site assessment w.r.t environmental sensitivity of the site
  • Data collection about the site from secondary and primary sources
  • Phase I ESIA and preparation of AAI
  • Phase II ESIA
  • Identifying & quantifying the associated environmental liabilities
  • Preparation of report including the assessment methodology, outcomes and our recommendations.

 Environmental Sustainability Plan

The primary objective of Environmental Sustainability Plan is to create a sustainable built environment that minimizes ecological impact while addressing the specific regional and environmental needs.

Sustainability Plan consists of a series of sustainable categories and criteria, each with a direct impact on environmental stress mitigation. Each category measures a different aspect of the project’s environmental impact. The categories define these broad impacts and address ways in which a project can mitigate the negative environmental effects. These categories are then broken down into specific criteria that measure and define individual issues. These issues range from a thorough review of water consumption to an assessment of light quality. Each criterion specifies a process for measuring individual aspects of environmental impact and for documenting the degree to which the requirements have been met. A score is then awarded to each criterion based on the degree of compliance. NATURE have in-house and empanelled expert with GSAS/QSAS (Global / Qatar Sustainability Assessment System) certification accredited by Gulf Organization for Research and Development (GORD) who provides sustainability Assessment Study for various construction study across the globe.

Marine Surveys

The marine ecosystem is the largest ecosystem after the whole of Planet Earth because water accounts for more than 70 % of Earth’s surface.  The marine environment (our oceans and seas) accounts for more than 97 % of it. The marine environment is already registering the impacts of environmental pollution, species extension and climate change. Despite these harsh environmental conditions, the Arabian Gulf supports a range of coastal and marine ecosystems such as mangrove swamps, seagrass beds, coral reefs, and mud and sand flats. Understanding the significance of Marine ecosystem Nature with association with its international business partners pioneered various Marine studies in Kingdom of Bahrain, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and State of Qatar. Nature has a well versed team consisting Marine Surveyors, Divers, Marine Biologists etc.
